THE COMPANY
THE ELELEI COMPANY was born in 2020 from the collaboration between the artists, Sabrina Gargano (Barletta, Italy) and Rafa Jagat (Valencia), with the idea of being able to combine dance and theatre and create a single disciplinary language.
Motivated by telling stories, by wondering the why of things, and so that they could be assimilated by the public, their first show "A CIEGAS" was born in 2020.
They premiere the piece for the first time in April in dance 2021, (Alicante).
In January 2021 they create the physical theater film "MAY YOU LISTEN?" belonging to the formation of the young company of Jasmin Vardimon JV2 in England and premiered in May 2021.
In February 2022, they create again with the JV2 dancers a new piece called "MARATHON", which will be released in April-May 2022.
They premiere in May 2022 the solo "SOY MADERA" co-produced by the Imaginarius Festival from Santa Maria da Feira, danced by Sabrina and directed by Rafa.
RAFA JAGAT - Valencia, Spain
SABRINA GARGANO - Barletta, Italy
Actor, performer, director and playwright. He trained for five years in dramatic art and two more years in physical theater. All this learning time is combined with classes from different disciplines within the language of movement.

Creates his own Jagat Mata company, with 6 physical theater shows since 2008. In addition to all his creations, he dances for the Mey Lin Bisogno company, for the Omos Uno dance company and creates an outdoors duo with Candelaria Antelo.

He also works with David Zambrano for a month on the improvisation project “Two songs for two humans”.

Teaches dance and physical theater in Spain and Europe. Since 2020 he has collaborated as a director and playwright with circus companies such as (Som Noise, Encuentros, Cia Papaya and Akrosphere).
Independent dance artist. After completing the Jasmin Vardimon JV2 Professional Development Course in 2014, Sabrina performs in the UK and abroad.
Collaborates with PanicLab Dance Theater (UK), Gregory Maqoma by Companhia Instàvel (Portugal), Tom Dale (UK) Company Idem (Switzerland), Ciemulator Dance Theater (Switzerland), Beatrice Allegranti Dance Theater (UK), fuori Dance Project (UK)), Victoria Fox by // Tribe (UK), Mafalda Deville by Companhia Instavel (Portugal), Becky Namgauds and Jasmin Vardimon (UK), playing the title role of Jasmin 's Pinocchio.

Collaborating with Verena Schneider, their duet was performed in Italy, London and Northern Ireland. Choreography for youth companies at The Point, Pera University, Lincoln University. He teaches workshops in the UK and Europe. He also teaches the Jasmin Vardimon company and is"Course leader" from JV2 2019-20 and 2020-21.
